and a lovely green DB4(not pictured) comes up. The hosts pegged the value at $425k to $450k, but I went lower at $375k. So it comes across the block, they open at $200k and it quickly shoots up to $370k. I'm thinking, "fuck, I was too conservative!", but then the bidding stalls. The auctioneer makes his first and second calls but suddenly two assholes get in a bidding war and the car ends up being sold for $420k. So fucking close!

You need to try the Barrett-Jackson Hagerty Fantasy bidding. It's exactly what you just described only with prizes for who gets the closest.

I usually play along with that too but I've never entered in it. Whenever I watch an auction I guess the sale price.
